Through its activities in the IFLA Mediterranean Group, which brings together members from IFLA’s Africa, Europe, and Middle East regions, ESLA participated in the Bauhaus in Rome at the conference “Coastal Landscapes: From Protection to Production” I represented ESLA and spoke about the important role of landscapes on Egypt’s North Coast, addressing the different levels of planning and decision-making.
The Bauhaus4Med Med_net Conference & Workshops took place in Rome, Italy (8–10 May 2025) as part of the wider New European Bauhaus initiative, promoting sustainability, inclusivity, and the quality of living environments. The event brought together stakeholders, experts, and practitioners to explore coastal landscapes, nature-based solutions, climate resilience, and sustainable development across Mediterranean countries.
