The Ras Mohammed Ecotourism Development Project proposes a conservation-led spatial plan that diversifies the park’s tourism offer while protecting its sensitive marine and terrestrial ecosystems. It introduces low impact ecolodges, managed trails, visitor facilities, interpretation points, and improved mobility arrangements, alongside measures for regulating access and visitor flows. The project aims to enhance the quality and duration of visits, support conservation and local livelihoods, and establish a more sustainable model for managing tourism within the national park.
