Norway celebrating 200 years of its constitution by developing network of public spaces. The project aimed to create a trail and introduce public space landscaping elements including, benches, signage, sitting areas, drinking water fountains,… and all make the public spaces attractive place for families. The project illustrates how the festival can be a fabulous opportunity to capitalize on. It can be utilized as a catalyst to transform all the public spaces in the in the city and also provide potential for local tourism. This can be through expanding the trail of the festival to connect to other attractions in the city. It can be regular trail for similar festivals or can be recreational public trails for families living in the area. It can be regularly utilized through the year fully or partially. This concept is simply taking the FESTIVAL beyond the FESTIVAL.
