The Al-Darb Al-Ahmar Revitalization Project is an urban regeneration initiative developed through an intensive community development process. Through intensive community development process, the work included: (i) complete the urban master plan and (ii) extend the current urban success to the entire al-Darb al-Ahmar area, (iii) development of the tourism routes (in the historic area), and (iv) develop the building guideline in al-Darb al-Ahmar area. Building on these objectives, the project aims to strengthen the social, cultural, and economic fabric of the district by linking heritage conservation with improved public spaces and enhanced mobility.
