This work conducted in the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador was the culmination of study, analysis and design completed to meet the requirements of a postgraduate course in urban design at the Joint Centre for Urban Design, Oxford Brookes University. It encompassed surveys, interviews, public hearings, workshops, presentations and meetings with local authorities.
